Filipino Festivity and Hospitality
It was typical for a Filipino Family to gather in out of town parties as a reunion or family get together. Together with my family, we went to Water Camp, Cavite to meet my Grandmother's side of the family whom haven't seen each other for 40 years!
Delicious food is a must for after a long day under the sun bonding, swimming, and chikahan (socializing), this is the activity that is commonly shared to everyone regardless of how personalities mixed in the group. Inihaw (roasted) food are common for beach or pool getaways. As above foods are laid on the bench, the family ate with bare hands as part of a custom Filipino tradition. Yummy foods above includes Inihaw na Liempo, Inihaw na Tilapia, Alimango, Dinuguan, Ensaladang Mangga, Okra at Talong, Biko, Puto BiƱan, Kutsinta, Cupcakes and many more.
Water Camp Resort of Cavite
During a reunion with my grandmother's relatives I was able to see the Water Camp Resort beside the famous Josephine's Restaurant in Kawit, Cavite. It has four swimming pools: lazy river, children's pool, dunk pool (with 2 level slides) and an adult pool. The resort is huge enough for normal outings but I believe it can be crowded during the summer season. For daytour access, there are tents and tables for renting for as low as Php200. For overnight accomodation, they hage rooms available for as low as Php1,400. The resort is located at Water Camp, Panamitan, Kawit, Cavite.

Coastal Road Toll
It has been years already since I last passed the Coastal Road. We went into too much of a traffic jam from Quezon City to reach the Cavite Area which is farther to the south. Now the toll rates are posted above and this is as of November 2010.

A Night of Laughter with Chokoleit
I came with a high school girlfriend and boyfriend to LaffLine Comedy Bar of Timog Ave. in Quezon City. Primetime guest is Chokoleit. From the other guest performers I really laughed my heart out to Super Tekla and Chokla. Both of them are really funny, even though without words, Super Tekla is nonetheless funny on his own. He somewhat also resembles Poohquiao. Having fun nights with friends at comedy bars are really the best. Nothing compares to laughter for removing all the stress away.

Nails, Nails, Nails
Having free time to put some nail polish is one of the best home activities I would like to do when sitting pretty at home during weekends. Actually I was supposed to be doing some marble nail art but my set of Nail Polishers fail me. I ended up putting some cute nail stickers on them instead.

Subic Bay International Airport
It was in June of 2009 when FedEx (Federal Express) of the USA left the Subic Bay International Airport as their Asian Hub. This has left the Subic Airport unused, ghostly and in a way "sayang". So now, what does Subic Bay International Airport look? In my opinion it was already left without any attention. In our usual visit to Subic, never did I see a single plane landing, ported or even flying from the Subic Airpor runway. It is sad that these Philippine facilities that can be used for profit was suddenly put aside without any use. I just wish Richard "Dic" Gordon would come back to Subic and rehabilitate it again as one of the most beautiful and profitable location in Luzon.
Grotto of the Holy Family
It is very rare for me to see a Grotto with the entire Holy Family. Usually it only portrays Mama Mary or just Jesus Christ. In this case I am so amazed that the entire Holy Family is complete in this Grotto of Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar. The first time we went there, the grotto was still blank and no images are in place. This grotto is located near the Casa Baliuag II and our Hotel Executive Suite at Paso de Blas. The grotto was made of original adobe blocks that blends with the antiquity and uniqueness of the Las Casas place in Bataan.
